About the Event:
Ronnie will show that expensive and complicated equipment and programs are not essential for capturing and creating unique and powerful images. Everything you need is at hand in a smartphone.
Coupled with a basic understanding of the key photography rules, this workshop will teach participants how to use a smartphone as part of everyday life to create impressive portraits that will stand the test of time.
The first half of the workshop is dedicated to covering the basics of the smartphone camera and key photography rules, with a view to demonstrating how these can be manipulated to achieve various effects. Participants will have the opportunity to practise what they have learned, with time dedicated to taking photographs.
The second half of the workshop focuses on digital image editing and processing using a free online app.
