The Players Theatre Incorporated has provided theatrical excellence in Port Macquarie for almost 60 years!

Their boutique 225 seat venue provides first class entertainment for the Hastings Region and beyond.

The Players Theatre enables the Hastings community to become involved in all facets of theatre - including acting, directing, set design and construction, sound and lighting, makeup and costuming.

Having consistently staged 5-6 productions annually, including their biannual Festival of One Act Plays, The Players Theatre brings a wonderful variety of performances to the stage including drama, comedy, musical and pantomime.

'We Will Rock You' - May 14th to June 6th

We Will Rock You is a jukebox musical based on the songs of British rock band Queen with a book by Ben Elton.

The musical tells the story of a futurist adventure set in the year 2350, a time when live music is banned on earth, but the kids are in rebellion, fighting against a diet of synthesized pop. A group of Bohemians struggle to restore the free exchange of thought and fashion, and live music.
