The Wauchope-born storyteller is gaining a strong reputation for his rock solid work ethic, distinctive vocals and razor sharp song craft.
Landing his first regular gig at 10 years of age, Gill performed at his local heritage theme park Timbertown, honing his craft entertaining crowds on a weekly basis.
After attending the CMAA Academy of Country Music, Gill recorded his first EP Livewire in 2014.
He released his debut self produced album Nomad in 2017, featuring the hit singles Roadworks and Hands are Clean, receiving a coveted Australian Independent Country Music Award for ‘Male Rising Star’.
His second studio album Welcome To My Heart was released in 2019 and nominated for ‘Traditional Country Album of the Year’ at the 2020 CMAA Golden Guitar Awards.
He was also nominated for an ARIA Award for his songwriting and production work with Melbourne comedy legend Bev Killick for ‘Best Comedy Release’ in 2020.
Gill has toured nationally and internationally several times, becoming one of the youngest Australians to perform on the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee in 2019, as a guest of Nashville TV star Charles Esten.
He has supported US country music superstar Kris Kristofferson, as well as the biggest names in the Australian music industry, including The Black Sorrows, Glenn Shorrock, Rick Price, Lee Kernaghan, Troy Cassar-Daley, Sara Storer, Beccy Cole, James Blundell and others.
