News Story Summary:
Continuing its mission to revolutionize water sports, the Australian-born company has improved the performance of the original board and created a new range that’s tailored to beginners and seasoned riders alike.
Just like the first Fliteboard, the new series 2 allows riders to hover approximately 70cm above the water and reach speeds of up to 45 km per hour, all using clean electric energy.
What sets series 2 apart is the range of interchangeable performance wings to suit different levels of ability; from those that love tight carving at high speeds, to those who prefer a looser, more cruisy feeling.
The product developers and engineers have also refined the design by removing all the electronics from the board, for simplicity and easier serviceability.
The new fliteboard series 2 range includes the inflatable ‘AIR’, ideal for beginners, heavier riders, families, yachts and fliteschools.
The ‘PRO’ fliteboard is for riders with previous board sports experience and the new ‘ULTRA’ – the world’s smallest eFoil at 4’2”, designed for advanced riders looking to push the limits.
The ULTRA includes optional footstraps and a true glide propeller that lets you ride waves without power.
