NSW state budget has allocated Millions to help solve intersection problem & heavy traffic congestion at city's most prominent intersections.
$2.0 million has been allocated as part of the $20 million commitment to fast track the Oxley Highway/Pacific Highway Interchange at Port Macquarie as part of the Oxley Highway Future Growth Program
In other budget allocations, $4.9 million has been allocated to upgrade the Astronomy Science Centre in Port Macquarie & $21.5 million for Port Macquarie Hospital Helipad Relocation and car park.
Hastings Secondary College will also benfit from the $70.1 million 2022-23 delivery of the ongoing major upgrades to schools program.
Port Macquarie Police Station also receives funding from a $52.7 million program for the construction of new regional police stations.
