BIG W takes the safety of our customers and their families seriously and wishes to advise customers of a product recall on the following products:

Girls Frill Sleeve PJ - Emma Wiggles- sizes 2 - 6. The product is manufactured under the license by Mistiyarn Pty Ltd.

Article numbers: 1100177, 1100178, 1100179, 1100180, 1100181

The article number can be found on the care instruction label.

This product has been sold in BIG W nationally from: 02/01/19 to 07/03/19.

DEFECT: The frills on the top do not comply with the requirements of the mandatory standard 'Consumer Goods (Children's Nightwear and Limited Daywear and Paper Patterns for Children's Nightwear) Safety Standard 2017'.

HAZARD: The garment may pose a potential fire hazard.

ACTION REQUIRED: Customers should immediately cease using the PJ set and return it to any BIG W store for a full refund.

Little Tikes 4-in-1 Trike:

BIG W is recalling the Little Tikes 4-in-1 Trike model sold at BIG W stores and bigw.com.au from 5 November 2016 to 14 March 2019. This product is supplied to BIG W by Headstart and is not BIG W's own brand product.

DEFECT: The Little Tikes 4-in-1 Trike should not be used as a stroller but has some features of a stroller. The product is unsafe for use as a stroller to transport children as it does not have the safety features required of a stroller under the mandatory standard Consumer product Safety Standard for Prams and Strollers (Consumer Product Notice No. 8 of 2007, as amended on 14 February 2019.

HAZARD: If used by a customer as a stroller to transport children, the product may cause injury to a child if the product rolls in an uncontrolled manner or if the child falls out of the product.

ACTION REQUIRED: Customers should not use the product as a stroller to transport children. Consumers can return the product to any BIG W store for a full refund. A receipt is not required.
