Ms Pavey said the grant – part of a four-year, $500 million commitment by the NSW Government – will be used for the construction of a Sports and Fitness Centre and the refurbishment of the college hall into a Performing Arts Centre.
"The Building Grants Assistance Scheme helps Independent and Catholic schools with the greatest need build, extend, or upgrade their facilities to provide more student places in growing communities," Ms Pavey said.
"This financial year, the government has committed $150 million in Building Grants Assistance Scheme funding, with $120 million allocated to 40 projects at non-government schools across the state.
"This funding will help ensure parents can choose the best educational setting for their child, whether that be at a government or non-government school.
"The St Paul's community also contributed to the project, which will improve the learning environment for current and future students through contemporary facilities that reflect the learning needs of today's students.
BGAS is funded by the NSW Government and is administered by the Association of Independent Schools NSW and the NSW Catholic Block Grant Authorities.
"Since 2010, BGAS funding has supported 98 non-government schools to deliver new and upgraded classrooms, science labs, outdoor areas and facilities for students with special needs," Ms Pavey said.
"This funding complements the $6.7 billion the government is investing over the next four years to deliver over 190 new and upgraded government schools across NSW – the largest investment in public schools by any state government in Australian history."
