Gone Fishing NSW Day 2023:

Once again the DPI ran a host of major events around NSW to celebrate our love of fishing and encourage everyone to get out on the water. 

It didn't matter if you haven't fished before or if you're the keenest of anglers, Gone Fishing Day was an event for everyone!

Free NSW DPI community fishing events for everyone where hosted by DPI across NSW on Sunday 8th October.

There was something for everyone, including beginners, who wanted to learn about fishing, as well as activities for the keenest angler.

Each event had a free fishing sessions, experts on hand to provide fishing advice, casting competitions, as well some free fishing giveaways.
