News Story Summary:
The owners of a Coffs Harbour tourist attraction are investing heavily into the future of their business.
Once the bypass is open, the Butterfly House will be the only tourist attraction on the Pacific Highway between Sydney and the Gold Coast.
Visit the Coffs Harbour Butterfly House:
The Butterfly House offers visitors the opportunity to stroll amongst hundreds of live Australian butterflies in an indoor subtropical rainforest setting.
Visitors have the opportunity to meet 4 baby dinosaurs daily.
Visitors can also enjoy a life sized dinosaur in a presentation daily (weather permitting as he is not able to roam around in the rain).
We have a newly built dinosaur Forest, complete with 6 Life sized dinosaurs, that move and roar.
The glass house also is home to some beautiful fairies that you can spot flying amongst the trees.
We are open every day of NSW school holidays and most public holidays.
Opening Hours:
The Butterfly House is open from 10am to 2pm all year round except during NSW school terms, when we are closed on Mondays.
During NSW school holidays we are open 7 days a week with the exception of Christmas Day.
* Please note our Café is closed on public holidays
Ideal Viewing Times:
The activity level of the butterflies is determined by light, temperature and humidity, therefore the butterflies are normally more active between 10 am and 2 pm.
