Port Philosophy Forum ‘The Future of Education’
"What might education look like in the future?" While many people consider this topic from the point of view of technology, my colleagues & I are taking a different tack.

The topic:  The Future of Education

"What might education look like in the future?  While many people consider this topic from the point of view of the effects of technology, I and my colleagues are taking a different tack, and are thinking around ideas of socioecological perspectives, the Anthropocene, the French philosopher Giles Deleuze, the Italian philosopher Rose Braidotti, and constructs of a post-human age.

I will play with aspects of this, asking whether these ideas offer a fresh role for education in our changing world."

His current research focuses on the scholarship of teaching & learning, especially from the perspective of trans-disciplinary cross-school team-based research.
